LOGAN, Utah — Coach Nick Rolovich’s second season at Hawaii is quickly becoming a forgettable one.
Jordan Love passed for a score and ran for another, Gerold Bright and LaJuan Hunt each had scoring runs, and Utah State beat the Rainbow Warriors 38-0 on Saturday to become bowl eligible for the sixth time in seven years.
The Rainbow Warriors (3-8, 1-7 Mountain West) finish with just one conference win and have no such bowl plans after losing for the eighth time in nine games.
“It was just a bad-looking performance by us,” Rolovich said. “We felt that this team, if we could go fast, we could eliminate some of their movement stuff.
