Three members of the 2022-23 University of Hawai’i men’s basketball team were honored as members of the Big West Conference Winter Academic All-Conference Team.
Bernardo da Silva, Kamaka Hepa and Beon Riley are the Rainbow Warriors on the all-academic team. To be eligible for the all-academic team, student-athletes have to maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average, complete one full academic year at the member institution prior to the season for which the award is being received and competed in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests.
Da Silva (Marketing major) and Riley (Management) are repeat selections from last season.
