Three members of the 2015-16 University of Hawai’i basketball team were named to the Academic All-Big West Conference Team.
Quincy Smith, Niko Filipovich and Stefan Jovanovic are on the list of 13 players in the sport of men’s basketball. UH’s three selections lead the conference, as UC Davis, UC Riverside and UC Santa Barbara each had two selections.
Jovanovic, who is majoring in Accounting, was selected to the Academic All-Big West Team for the second consecutive year. Smith (Business Management) and Filipovich (Business Management) are first-time honorees.
