Two recruits fulfilled earlier commitments by signing National Letters of Intent to play for the University of Hawai’i basketball team for the 2016-17 season. The signings of guards Matthew Owies from Australia and Drew Buggs from California were announced on Sunday morning.

HONOLULU – University of Hawai‘i men’s basketball coach Eran Ganot announced the signing of guards Matthew Owies and Drew Buggs to national letters of intent for the 2016-17 season. Both join the ‘Bows as true freshmen.
“It’s always a great day when you can announce the additions of two very special people and future leaders to your program,” said Ganot of his two signees.
