No. 13 Oregon runs away from Hawai’i, 89-64

Oregon went on a second-half blitz to earn an 89-64 victory over the University of Hawai’i basketball team on Saturday at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Ore.

The Rainbow Warriors jumped to an early lead and matched the Ducks shot-for-shot in the first half. But the second half was all Oregon.

Eddie Stansberry made a career-high seven 3-pointers and finished with 24 points to lead Hawai’i, which dropped to 6-3.

Oregon, which is ranked No. 13 in the Associated Press Top 25, improved to 7-2, including 5-0 at home.

Freshman Justin Webster scored a season-high 12 points, and Dawson Carper added 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting, and grabbed five rebounds for the Warriors.
