After throwing down several dunks for the University of Hawai’i basketball team last week, Stefan Jankovic was a slam dunk choice for the Big West Conference Player of the Week.
Jankovic, a 6-foot-11 junior center, averaged 29.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game, and shot an impressive 76 percent from the field, to help lead the Warriors to two thrilling comeback wins on the road last week.

He had a career-high 34 points on 12-of-13 shooting, and grabbed eight rebounds in a 69-63 win at CSUN on Thursday. His .923 field goal percentage for that game was the best ever by a UH player in a conference game (dating back to 1980, when UH was in the Western Athletic Conference).
