A summer league will continue for top-level basketball players in Hawai’i, but it will have a different name this year.
The Hawai’i Development League is scheduled to run from July 2-19. The regular-season games will be played at St. Francis School and Manoa District Park. The championship game on July 19 will be played at Maryknoll School.
Similar to the Hawaii College Basketball Summer League of recent years (also known as the NCAA Summer League in prior years), the HD League will feature six teams with current, former and future players from local colleges and high schools.
