The University of Hawai’i basketball team can finish no higher than fourth place, and no lower than sixth place, with two games remaining in the Big West Conference regular season.
Other than that, it’s all about gaining momentum for the Big West Conference Tournament, which is scheduled for March 8-10 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif.
The Rainbow Warriors will close the regular season this week with road games at UC Davis on Thursday, and at Cal State Fullerton on Saturday. Hawai’i is 16-11 overall and 7-7 in the conference.
UC Davis is 19-9 and 10-4, and one of four teams still in contention for the regular-season championship.
