Flooding on South Kihei Road between Kalepolepo Park and Kaonoulu Street continued to leave the road impassable Monday morning, and that affected some Maui Bus routes in South Maui, according to a Maui County announcement. Until the road is clear, the southbound Kihei Islander and Villager buses will not go to the Kaonoulu bus stop, and both northbound buses will not serve the Piikea, Waipuilani, Kulanihakoi and Kaonoulu bus stops. Meanwhile, a toppled tree blocking the road to Iao Valley State Monument led to the closure of the park at 9:45 a.m. Monday, according to a posted Maui .
