Carper is also in transfer portal

Another University of Hawai’i basketball player is now entered in the NCAA transfer portal.

Dawson Carper, who was the Rainbow Warriors’ starting center for most of the 2019-20 season, is listed in the transfer portal, according to verbalcommits.com.

Carper, a 7-foot sophomore from Colorado, averaged 6.0 points and 3.9 rebounds per game, and led the team with a .613 field goal percentage this past season. He was in the starting lineup for 22 of the team’s 30 games, but his playing time diminished late in the season.

He is the second UH starter to enter the transfer portal this week.
