Kysen Datuin scored 11 points at Honokaa Armory, and Austyn Ah Choy and Jonathan Charbonneau added 10 and nine, respectively, Saturday as the Honokaa cruised past St. Joseph 67-39 to extend their lead atop BIIF boys basketball Division II.
The Dragons (7-3) moved 1 1/2 games ahead of Hawaii Prep (5-4) in first place, with two regular season games remaining this week at Waiakea and Pahoa.
Manato Fukuda scored a game-high 22 points for the Cardinals (5-5), who have lost two in a row but remain in third place in D-II. Cole DeSilva scored 12.
