Chris Acker is leaving the University of Hawai’i basketball team’s coaching staff, and has been hired as an assistant coach at Boise State. Both schools made official announcements about Acker on Wednesday.
Acker was an assistant coach for the Warriors for the past two seasons. His vacant spot on the staff is already advertised as an open job position.
Here is a statement from UH head coach Eran Ganot:
“We want to congratulate Chris on his new position. Chris has played a pivotal role in our program’s success and his efforts have allowed us to get where we’re at today.
