Green Bay — Wide receiver Mitch Skarban already has advanced further than any other player in the 16-year history of Wisconsin Lutheran College football.
Skarban, one of the 28 players invited for a three-day audition to the Green Bay Packers' rookie orientation, is the first Warrior to attract an official tryout from an NFL team.
Dennis Miller, the only coach in WLC history, said Skarban has excellent body control.
"I hope he impresses somebody up there," Miller said at mid-week. "He just had a really nice year. Catches the ball very well. Uses his body well.
