Could the Washington Commanders be without punter Tress Way on Thursday Night Football against the Green Bay Packers?
In Sunday's Week 1 win over the New York Giants, Way had a punt blocked and was knocked to the ground. Washington's X page reported a back injury and said he was questionable to return. Fortunately for the Commanders, it was later in the game.
On Monday, the Commanders did not practice but held a walkthrough. So, the team issued an injury report, which was an estimation if the team had a standard practice. Way was listed as a DNP (did not participate) with a back injury.
