Which Retired Packers Would Make the Biggest Impact?

The biggest news coming out of Week 14 in the NFL isn’t the fact that the Chiefs and Ravens are in danger of missing the playoffs. It’s not who’s sitting in the number-one seeds in each conference. It’s the news that the Indianapolis Colts, who find themselves in dire straits at the most important position in football, are signing 44-year-old retired quarterback Philip Rivers. The Colts signed Rivers — who has been retired for five years — to their practice squad as the replacement for injured starter Daniel Jones, who tore his Achilles tendon this past Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
