The NFC North crown came down to the final game of the NFL season in 2024 when the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions faced off. By securing the victory, the Lions also clinched the No. 1 seed in the playoffs, earning a first-round bye.
Minnesota still made the playoffs, though, as did the Green Bay Packers. The Vikings were 14-3, a record that is usually good enough to win the division. The Packers were 11-6, with five of those losses coming to division foes.
