It is a challenging task to follow a future Hall of Famer. Aaron Rodgers did it in 2008 when he assumed the QB1 position after the Green Bay Packers traded Brett Favre to the New York Jets, and Jordan Love did it in 2023 after the franchise traded Rodgers to the Jets ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft. While it is way too early to declare Love as the next Hall of Fame QB to don the green and gold, the label for Love after his first full year as a starter is the same that it was for Rodgers after his first full season as a starter: franchise quarterback.
