The NFL trade deadline has come and gone and it was rather boring.
Sure Aqib Talib got traded (again), but the big sell offs many were expecting out of teams like the Cincinnati Bengals and New York Jets never materialized.
This means the Green Bay Packers ended up standing pat, but that doesn’t mean general manager Brian Gutekunst didn’t make some phone calls. It’s important to remember that it takes two to make a trade and while Green Bay may have made some sincere offers, it’s all for nothing if the other side either wanted something unreasonable or just flat out rejected the proposal.
