News broke late last night that the Green Bay Packers had signed former Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Byron Bell via Bell’s Instagram account.
Packers fans are likely waking up this morning wonder who Bell is and what he is being brought in to do.
Simply put, he’s a right tackle being brought in to compete for the starting job while Bryan Bulaga continues to recover from a torn ACL he suffered late last season. With Jason Spriggs, Kyle Murphy and Adam Pankey already on the roster, Bell gives Green Bay at the very least more veteran depth along the line.
