The Green Bay Packers have had no problem spending money this year. In one offseason, they handed Aaron Banks $77 million, Zach Tom $88 million, and made Micah Parsons the highest-paid non-QB in NFL history.
Just this week, they signed Christian Watson to a one-year extension worth $13.25 million.
But it's the $2.6 million they didn't spend that may come back to haunt them. That's all it cost the Minnesota Vikings to sign former Packers linebacker Eric Wilson in free agency, and it's a decision GM Brian Gutekunst may already regret.
