Tom Brady is finally walking away from the NFL, after 22 legendary seasons for the most successful quarterback in the history of the league.
Brady’s retirement may serve as further vindication for the Green Bay front office to proceed with their plan to make one more run at a Super Bowl with Aaron Rodgers.
With Rodgers at the helm, the Packers should still be the class of the NFC North next season, even if the rest of the roster is decimated due to Green Bay’s salary cap issues.
Assuming the Packers make the 2022 playoffs, one potential contender may have been taken out of the running with Brady no longer under center.
