Tom Brady backs 'dangerous' Aaron Rodgers to 'have a great year' with the New York Jets and says leaving Green Bay Packers after 18 seasons will give him 'different energy'

Tom Brady has backed Aaron Rodgers to 'have a great year' with the New York Jets, claiming his old quarterback rival's departure from the Green Bay Packers after 18 seasons will give him 'different energy' ahead of the upcoming NFL season.

Appearing on Monday's episode of SiriusXM's Lets Go! podcast, Brady was asked his thoughts on the move, considering that he changed clubs so late in his career too.

Rodgers moved to New York at the age of 39, while Brady was 32 when he left the New England Patriots after 20 seasons to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
