Despite what the analytics say, the Green Bay Packers are playing in the NFC Championship game in a rematch with the San Francisco 49ers. And not to conjure up any bad memories, but I'm sure most of you can recall how ugly that first meeting between the two teams was.
On the opening possession, Aaron Rodgers fumbled the ball which eventually led to an easy score for the 49ers' offense, Aaron Jones and Davante Adams couldn't get anything going, and my biggest takeaway was that the Niners simply dominated the Packers in the trenches on both sides of the ball.
