Let the Summer of Love begin. All eyes will be on the Green Bay back-up quarterback tonight as he gets the start against the 49ers in the preseason opener. It’s probably a bit premature to say it’s “now or never” for the third year signal caller. He is pretty much locked in to the back-up job at least for this year, and likely next year as well, assuming Aaron Rodgers returns.
But if he ever dreams of being a bona fide starter in this league, let alone for the Packers, he has to make his move now. He has to start showing certain things.
