So why is it falling apart?
It’s understandable that many fans are laying the blame for the Green Bay Packers struggles on Matt LaFleur and Brian Gutekunst. Fans have the benefit of hindsight. But let’s go back to February of this year.
After the Packers were bounced from the playoffs by the 49ers, the attention shifted completely to the status of Aaron Rodgers for the coming season. A big decision had to be made. Did the Packers want to commit to the 38 year old quarterback, or was it time to trade him for what would surely have been a bonanza of draft picks and players?
