The Green Bay Packers' 2020 NFL Draft is closing Aaron Rodgers' final Super Bowl window

Succession plans in the NFL are rarely smooth sailing. For as much as Montana to Young or Favre to Rodgers were seamless on the stat sheet or in the record books, the conflict and tension made those transitions far from flawless. Aaron Rodgers is 36 years old and is now four years removed from his last PFF grade above 90.0. The best two seasons of his career were 2011 and 2014 according to PFF grades, and those are starting to become distant memories. The team needs to get him back on track, but rather than reload with weapons and assistance, the Packers are doing something else entirely in this draft — and they may be throwing a brick through the final few years of Rodgers’ Super Bowl window.
