The Green Bay Packers entered the 2023 season with a lot of uncertainty at wide receiver. None of the players on the active roster had more than one season of pro experience and when you add a pair of rookie tight ends and a new starting quarterback with one previous career NFL start, there were many reasons to question the unit.
Early in the season, those questions were magnified due to the inconsistent performances of this young group. Players dropped too many passes. They didn’t run the right patterns or make the right reads on the coverage, resulting in two or more players being in the same place on the field at the same time.
