The Green Bay Packers got better Sunday. Not nearly good enough to win against a worthy opponent, but better. The Pack once again had a number of opportunities to win this game. They simply didn't know how.
With 3:04 to play in the third quarter, Anders Carlson booted a 28 yard field goal to give the Packers a 19 to 17 lead. But Green Bay would get the ball back four more times, and yet couldn’t manufacture another single point. Jordan Love is improving. He is going to be an okay quarterback in this league. But he is going to need a dominant defense behind him in order to win at this level.
