Seahawks trade Russell Wilson to Broncos: Blockbuster deal comes after Aaron Rodgers stays with Packers

Tuesday will go down as one of the biggest days of NFL quarterback news in recent history.

Shortly after future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers decided to return to the Packers — on a monster contract — another future Hall of Fame quarterback was traded.

Russell Wilson is heading from the Seahawks to the Broncos, ending an era in Seattle and giving Denver its first true franchise quarterback since Peyton Manning.

The terms of the trade, according to NFL Network, include “multiple first-round draft picks, plus additional picks and players.”

Wilson had expressed frustration with the Seahawks since last offseason.
