Sam Shields Still Not Happy With Packers Release

It’s been a long road back for former Green Bay Packers cornerback Sam Shields.

Shields, who now plays for the Los Angeles Rams, was out of football for almost two full seasons because of concussions. He went down during the first game of the 2016 season. He didn’t play again until this year.

Shields finished 2016 on injured reserve and the Packers released him following the year. Shields wasn’t particularly happy with the way things transpired then. He doesn’t sound like he feels any different now.

In an article on The Players Tribune, Shields says he doesn’t like the way the Packers handled the situation.
