Safety Depth Remains a Major Concern for the Packers

The Green Bay Packers addressed many of their most pressing needs in the 2022 NFL Draft with GM Brian Gutekunst even using first-round selections on an interior defensive lineman and an inside linebacker, two positions the team has historically not used top picks on.

But one position that was not taken care of in the draft was depth at safety. That remains a big need for the Packers right now and something that Gutekunst will have to address before the start of training camp.

The Packers starters are set with Adrian Amos and Darnell Savage. Amos is entering his fourth season with the team after signing as a free agent before the 2019 campaign.
