Russell Wilson had five touchdowns through his first seven games. He has six in his past two. If he’s not back, he’s close to it. Wilson carved up the Patriots, delivering dimes for chunk gains all evening. Five of Wilson’s completions gained at least 20 yards, while 14 gained at least 10. Wilson found the soft spots in New England’s Jamie Collins-less defense.
The performance was all the more impressive considering that it came it during a cross country road trip on a short week. In what would have been a letdown spot for many other quarterbacks, Wilson had his best start of the year.
