ESPN Las Vegas' Joe Arrigo reported Sunday evening that the Packers are going to request to interview New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels for their vacant head coaching position this week.
Per sources: the #Packers are prepared to ask permission to speak with Patriots OC Josh McDaniels, who would interview this week with team President Mark Murphy and GM Brian Gutenkust.
The report was later confirmed by Jim McBride of the Boston Globe, adding that "de facto" defensive coordinator Brian Flores would join him for his own interview.
McDaniels has been connected to the Packers in various facets throughout the last month.
