According to a report on Tuesday from NFL reporter Tom Pelissero, the Kansas City Chiefs are set to reunite with veteran tight end Robert Tonyan, who became a free agent after spending part of the 2024 season on the team's practice squad.
As a collegian, Tonyan was a standout at Indiana State University and joined the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent in 2017.
When his time in Detroit came to an end, Tonyan signed with the Green Bay Packers and eventually grew into a modest role in the team's offense, which was quarterbacked by star signal-caller Aaron Rodgers.
