Randall Cobb takes big pay cut to stay with Packers

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers made a point of bringing back wide receiver Randall Cobb last season, one of his favorite weapons from over the years. While there was some concern as to how they would keep him for 2022 given their salary cap situation, Cobb has taken one for the team.

Cobb is accepting a pay cut of $5.5 million for this upcoming season, per Tom Silverstein:

Instead of making $8.5 million, he’ll earn just $3 million. Definitely a big difference, but it goes to show how badly Cobb wants to stay with the Packers and chase a Super Bowl alongside his Rodgers.
