Quinten Rollins to IR, Further Depleting Secondary

Let me just say this straight off — REAL GOOD MOVE CUTTING LADARIUS GUNTER, Big Ted!

The Green Bay Packers rolled into Minnesota with three of their starting defensive backs sidelined — safety Morgan Burnett and cornerbacks Kevin King and Davon House. So what we got were starters Damarious Randall and Josh Hawkins on the outside and Quinten Rollins in the slot.

Except then — of course! — Rollins went down with an ankle injury. And as I predicted, the Packers were relying on undrafted rookie Lenzy Pipkins all of a sudden.

Personally, I didn’t think Pipkins was bad, but wouldn’t we all rather have had the veteran presence of Gunter, who was cut on September 13?
