Jacksonville Jaguars great Tony Boselli has always been hopeful that his place in the Pro Football Hall of Fame would come eventually.
He has been close but not close enough for the past five years — a finalist but unable to make the cut to be enshrined to Canton.
But Thursday night could be different for Boselli, a sixth-time finalist who played for the Jaguars from 1995 to 2001 and was voted to five straight Pro Bowls as a left tackle.
