The New York Jets have been linked to acquiring a veteran wide receiver this offseason.
Rumors recently ramped up after The Athletic's Dianna Russini claimed the Jets are among several teams monitoring the trade market for a wideout. One of the popular targets has been Green Bay Packers receiver Romeo Doubs.
Doubs was punished by the team last season for complaining about his role. They drafted two wide receivers this offseason, including first-round pick Matthew Golden. Doubs is entering a contract year and it's difficult to see him earning a fruitful position on their depth chart.
