Mission accomplished. After a 2-5 start that left more questions than answers in Titletown, the Packers stayed the course. Young receivers, injuries, and miscues be damned, Green Bay now finds themselves preparing for Wild Card weekend. On Sunday, Jordan Love was brilliant, throwing for 316 yards and leading an offense that didn’t punt once. The Chicago Bears’ defense came into this one on a hot streak but looked overmatched from the first snap. Nothing was stopping Love from snatching that final playoff spot.
On defense, the Packers made timely play after timely play. Third downs were a house of horrors for Chicago, resulting in multiple sacks from all over the defensive line.
