Landover, Md. — No team rushed Kirk Cousins and the Washington Redskins in the regular season like the Green Bay Packers in the NFC wild-card playoffs.
The Packers' hungry pass rushers piled up six sacks and five knockdowns of Cousins Sunday in a 35-18 victory at FedEx Field.
Only the once-beaten Carolina Panthers, with five, registered more than three sacks against the Redskins this season.
Pass rush and run defense are the staples of almost every team that has won an NFL title. Green Bay fit the bill in both areas Sunday.
"That's championship defense," linebacker Mike Neal said.
