Green Bay Packers first-round pick Matthew Golden has made a strong first impression on a veteran player in the team's wide receiver room.

While still early in the process, fourth-year receiver Romeo Doubs is liking what he's seeing out of the 23rd overall pick during the offseason workout program.

"Oh, man. Kid's a stud," Doubs said Tuesday, via Ryan Wood of PackersNews.com. "Doesn't say much, but he just comes in and works. He's been real consistent in that area...kid is playing fast right now, so I'm excited to see it."

The buzz around Golden early on sounds a bit like the first impressions of Doubs, who burst onto the scene as a fourth-round rookie and immediately became a contributor for an offense led by future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers.
