Packers WR Jayden Reed has ankle injury but avoids concussion

Green Bay Packers receiver Jayden Reed has a new ankle injury, but the rookie passed initial concussion testing coming out of Monday night’s loss to the New York Giants.

Reed was evaluated for a concussion after taking a big hit on the Packers’ two-point conversion play late in the fourth quarter.

Coach Matt LaFleur said Reed told him he was “fine” in the immediate aftermath of the contest.

The Packers listed Reed on the first Week 15 injury report with an ankle injury. He was estimated as a limited participant.
