Packers will meet with free agent receiver James Jones, per report

The first step towards bringing the former Packer receiver back into the fold has taken place, but there's a long way to go for him to re-sign with Green Bay.

Wide receiver James Jones was released by the New York Giants on Saturday, and according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel's Tom Silverstein:

A source said the #Packers have had discussions with the agent of WR James Jones, but there is no deal to report.
