The Green Bay Packers waived injured wide Jadon Janke, the team announced on Monday. The Packers now have an open roster spot with organized team activities continuing this week.
Janke was waived with an injury designation.
Janke, a first-year player out of South Dakota State, was originally signed on May 14. His stay in Green Bay lasted less than a month.
The Packers signed rookie receiver Sam Brown Jr. last week, possibly foreshadowing a corresponding move at the position. The roster now has 12 wide receivers, including draft picks Matthew Golden and Savion Williams.
