This is the big one. Today, the Green Bay Packers host the Detroit Lions in a battle for control of the NFC North division midway through the NFL’s 2024 regular season.
The two teams have combined for a 12-3 record so far this season, with the Lions a half-game up on the Packers coming into today’s game. Both teams are coming in on a winning streak as well, with the Lions winners of five straight and the Packers unbeaten in their last four games.
In other words, something has to give. The Packers hope it will be their defense that finds a way to solve a Lions offensive attack that leads the NFL in points scored and is in the top ten in just about every other meaningful statistical category.
