The Green Bay Packers have been rumored to be looking to trade star cornerback Jaire Alexander since the beginning of the offseason. However, to this point in time, he's still on the roster and there is still a chance he could return for one more year.
While it's possible that he returns to the Packers, that is not the most likely option.
It is much more likely that Green Bay will either trade or release Alexander. As the 2025 NFL Draft continues to draw closer, a decision seems likely to come before the draft.
Should the Packers still have Alexander on the roster after the draft, it would likely indicate that they'll have to release him rather than trading him and getting something of value in return.
