Last week Friday, the Green Bay Packers announced that the organization will honor the life and legacy of Bart Starr. The team is planning several celebrations during the Home Opener weekend.
The celebrations will be hosted on the same weekend as the Packers Alumni weekend. Things will kick off on Friday, September 13 with the annual Green & Gold Gala that benefits Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin. The event this year will feature a presentation by Cherry Starr, Bart Starr’s wife, and their son Bart Starr, Jr. There will also be numerous Packers alumni in attendance.
