Packers to hire national scout Milt Hendrickson to 'prominent' front office position

According to Bob McGinn of BobMcGinnFootball.com, the Packers are in a position to hire Milt Hendrickson, a national scout for the Baltimore Ravens.

Hendrickson, 44, has been with the Ravens since 2005 and has close ties with Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst. The two attended UW-La Crosse in the mid-90s and both helped coach the football team there in 1996.

Gutekunst also played a significant role in netting a scouting internship with the Packers for Hendrickson in 2004, one year prior to landing in Baltimore for the then foreseeable future.

Hendrickson's area of expertise specialized in scouting offensive linemen, even as a Midwest area scout.
