Brian Gutekunst and the Green Bay Packers are talking extension with the general manager's first ever draft pick.
Per a source with knowledge of the talks, the Packers and Jaire Alexander's camp met on Wednesday to talk about a contract extension.
The team is obviously juggling several things when it comes to roster construction and the salary cap, most notably whatever may happen with Aaron Rodgers and possibly extending or placing the Franchise Tag on Davante Adams.
No extension for Alexander is immenent, but the Packers have made it clear to Alexander's camp that the cornerback is a priority.
