Packers Take Lineman in Peter Schrager’s NFL Mock Draft

GREEN BAY, Wis. – For each of the past five seasons, NFL.com’s Peter Schrager correctly predicted the winner of the Super Bowl. Will he correctly predict the Green Bay Packers’ first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft?

In his first mock of the year, which is based on his “sources around the league,” Schrager went with “massive” Georgia offensive tackle Amarius Mims.

“Mims has tremendous upside despite a lack of experience at Georgia,” he wrote. “He’s shown enticing flashes in big games. This is a deep wide receiver and O-line draft. The Packers got plenty of production out of their young WRs and TEs last season; they bypass taking a first-round wideout and grab a gifted OT prospect.
